This weekend we are installing a kitchen.  First step is to sheet rock the walls (wiring is done).

This took a bit of doing but finally got there.  Mudding is still rough and it will be a real bear to finish, but we have to get the floor down so the cabinets can go in.  Wish I could take my time, but only have this weekend to finish as appliances come for installation next weekend.

Floors aren’t to bad.  Snap, snap, snap..

Just have to work around a big black tail hitting you in the face…

Cabinet installation was kind of fun.  Learned a lot for my first time.  I highly recommend using the kitchen planner sheets at Home Depot - just be careful to get the ones in your language.  I had to go back and get English ones when I looked at them and realized they were in Spanish!

Kitchen is ready for the appliances.  The place is starting to shape up nicely!

Here it is a couple weeks later, ceiling has been sheet-rocked and all appliances have all been installed. Now we can actually have a meal instead of fast food!
